 Daytona Beach Drive-In Christian Church
Through our special
day offerings, we support Week of Compassion and other Outreach projects
that go beyond the life of our local church. We support Halifax
Urban Ministries to care for those in need in our area. We support
the "SOUPER" Bowl offering that feeds the hungry. All of these efforts are due to the generous
support of this ministry.

The Church
is currently participating in a food drive for
The Halifax Urban Ministries.
The Goal of this drive is to collect 700,000 pounds of food by November
26, 2009.
Donations can be dropped off at any Gatehouse on Sunday morning or at
the Altar building during the week.
When monetary donations are made
The Halifax Urban Ministries
can purchase $5.00 worth of food for every &1.00 donated. Checks can be
made out to the Drive In Christian Church with HUM on the memo line. If

Souper Bowl
Souper Bowl of
Caring collecting money or food on or near Super Bowl weekend. 100% of the
collections are donated directly to the
The Youth of the Drive-In Christian Church will provide
gourmet soups for attendees. They will also serve the soup and
wait on their guests.
A $10.00 per person donation is requested. Proceeds of the Souper bowl
will go to the Halifax
Urban Ministries to help feed the hungry in our community.
This year we Raised $1,358.53

FOOD DRIVES
Fall Food Drive November 1 Through 29
We hold two Annual Food Drives one on the
spring and the other in the fall. All food collected goes to
The Halifax Urban Ministries.
These very successful food drives along with the Souper Bowl and other
offerings make us one of the largest contributor to the Halifax Urban
Ministries.

PET FOOD DRIVES
We conduct a summer Pet Food
Drives that benefit the
Halifax Humane Society.
Thank you for
helping out our four-legged and finned friends by bringing in your
donations.

Annual Spring Church Picnic
Our All-Church Picnic was held on May 18th. The food was great and

Thanksgiving Dinner
Held November 22, 2009 at 3:00pm Sunday before Thanksgiving over 250 people
enjoy this Pot Luck Dinner. The Church provides the Turkey. Dressing. &
Mashed Potatoes the attendees provide the rest. our In addition to an
offering our fantastic Auctioneer Larry Mann holds a great auction selling
us things that we really don't need to raise money for
Halifax Urban Ministries.

Operation Christmas Child
was very
successful the pictures below some of the gifts that will be sent to a
needy child somewhere in the world along with the message of Jesus Christ.
Our youth group stuffed more than 40 shoe boxes with gifts this year.
